Right of Withdrawal

The following applies to consumers — i.e. clients contracting for purposes outside their trade or profession — who conclude a distance contract, pursuant to the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Transactions Act (FAGG). It does not apply to business clients (B2B).

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform me of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email):

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, I shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which I am informed of your decision to withdraw. Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, and you will not incur any fees as a result.

Early performance and loss of the right of withdrawal

If you requested that performance begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay an amount proportionate to what has been provided up to the point of withdrawal, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract. The right of withdrawal is extinguished where the service has been fully performed during the withdrawal period at your express request and you acknowledged that you would thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§18(1)(1) FAGG).

Digital content

In the case of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal likewise lapses if you have given your express consent to performance beginning during the withdrawal period and acknowledged the resulting loss of that right.
